ABOUT The Founder

Hi, my name is Angela and I started Bright Wisdom Therapy with one goal in mind: to help people find happiness in their work, relationships, and life! I am a Christian Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) Trained, Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP-II), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) #03406 in the State of KS, and #2024034585 in the State of MO. I work under the supervision of Crystal Horsch, LCMFT #2870. Crystal is a member of the AAMFT, and is a Board Approved Clinical Supervisor for the Kansas Behavioral Sciences Regulatory Board (KSBSRB).

I am a Veteran of the United States Navy, and I hold my MS in General Psychology from Purdue University Global, and my MS in Marriage and Family Therapy from Capella University. Additionally, I hold my BS in Legal Studies from Kaplan University. I am also a SHRM-CP and PHR Certified Senior Level HR Professional with several years of experience coaching and guiding individuals through their career path and the challenges they have encountered along the way. Finally, I have several years of experience in high-conflict divorce, parental alienation, and in dealing with the family courts. With my background, education, and experience in these areas combined with my personal interest in spirituality, I believe I can help motivate others to focus, reflect, and refine their lives with confidence and self-compassion.

If you are looking for a compassionate therapist; or, if you just need an experienced life coach who can offer trauma informed care and help you become a more motivated and productive individual, couple, or family; and who understands how to help you become more resilient to change, improve self-care, find passion and purpose in your life, achieve greater communication, and adopt healthier patterns of behavior, I would love to work with you.

MY METHOD

  • Focus

It all starts by learning how to focus on what you want

  • Reflect

Next, you’ll reflect on what may be blocking you, and learn how to overcome these obstacles

  • Refine

The last step? We learn how to continually refine what we’ve learned. Think of this as your new beginning
