Dr. Kristin Neff is an Associate Professor of Educational Psychology at the University of Texas at Austin and if you are suffering from a negative self-dialogue and wanting to make some positive changes, self-compassion is a great place to start. Dr. Neff authored the book Self-Compassion: The Power of Being Kind to Yourself, and she wrote The Mindful Self-Compassion Workbook: A Proven Way to Accept Yourself, Build Inner Strength, and Thrive (Coauthored by Christopher Germer).
